Tax Manager (Gift/Trust/Estate)

We are a local CPA firm in the north Chicago area and have been in business for 40 years. We have a great deal of business in the T/E space and are looking for qualified seniors and managers to join our team.** We are able to hire from all states except CA and NY **What You Will Be DoingOversee the client experience including deadline management and client expectationscalculate tax effects of transactions, conduct technical tax research and manager tax partner expectations handle billing/wip managementreview returns and manage tax workflowcoordinate multiple team engagements, deadlines and schedules operate in a dynamic environmentHelp develop Senior and Staff accountants both technically and professionally through their careerWhat You Need for this PositionAt least 8 years in public accounting with an emphasis in taxation Ideally already an experienced manager, but experienced seniors/supervisors are encouraged to applyExpertise in the Trust/Estate and Gift spaceSpecific experience with form 706 or form 709 AND 1041Prior experience with GoSystem is a plus CPA license and/or J.D./LLMM.S. in Taxation is preferred** We are able to hire from all states except CA and NY **What's In It for YouCompetitive base pay ($120k- $180k) DOE100% REMOTEFormal Partner Track Great work/life balance (off xmas - new year, multiple days off after deadlines, summer Fridays etc)Annual Bonus401k with match and more** We are able to hire from all states except CA and NY **Benefits
