TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53718!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Mid Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three (3) years License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC required Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: Evening/Night shifts are available. 12-hour shifts include 1500 - 0330 and 1900 - 0730. Weekends and holidays are included in the schedule. Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. Emergency Department provides comprehensive emergency care. Timely, evidence-based care is given to patients across the lifespan. The department serves as a critical entry point to the health system. There are 40 exam rooms and additional vertical care spaces. Team coordinates closely with ambulance services. Emergent assessment and intervention is delivered throughout the facility. Patient ratios during the day are 4:1. Patient ratios during the night are 4:1. Patient ratios on weekends are 4:1. Travelers are required to float as needed. Two years of acute care experience within the last three years is necessary. References are not accepted. Pass/Fail testing is required with strict passing criteria. Exam criteria must be met in two attempts. Adult exam includes 100% identification of lethal rhythms. Passing score of 80% or higher is required. Attempting the pediatric exam is also necessary. If the traveler does not pass after three attempts, the assignment will be canceled.
