About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid (3x12-Hour), Night (3x12-Hour) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years. License: Registered Nurse license required. Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS - AHA ONLY, TNCC required. Must-Have: Epic experience required. Traveler will be required to pass a Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. Description: Eve/Night shifts working 12-hour and 8-hour shifts as needed. Shifts are from 1500 to 0330 or 1900 to 0730. Weekend and holiday rotation is required. High acuity Emergency Department experience is essential. This role involves managing patients with a range of medical emergencies including but not limited to abdominal pain, acute psychosis, and trauma care. The nurse will perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube management, and blood product administration. Experience with managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure is preferred. Telemetry knowledge and the ability to interpret dysrhythmias will be required. Candidates should possess skills in mental/behavioral health conditions and trauma care. Experience in a Level II Trauma Center is required, and Level I experience is preferred. Nurses must be adept in a high-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively. The role includes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are necessary for the position. All certifications must be current and compliant with established standards.
