Job Title: Civil Estimator
Job Location: Murfreesboro, TN
Salary: $100K-140K
Requirements: 5+ years of civil estimating experience required. HCSS Heavybid, BlueBeam and Agtek highly preferred. 

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for various civil construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in civil engineering and experience with estimating software and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for various civil construction projects including residential, commercial, and industrial.
• Utilize estimating software such as HCSS, HeavyBid, and AGTEK to generate accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and constraints.
• Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Maintain a database of historical costs and update estimating methods based on project performance.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for clients.
• Monitor project costs and provide feedback on budget variances during construction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an estimator in civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and materials, including paving, concrete, excavation, and utilities.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as HCSS, HeavyBid, and AGTEK.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
