As an unmanned aerial systems (UAS) company, we are looking for an individual with experience overseeing small projects and wire harness production work. The ideal candidate should have experience producing, diagnosing and troubleshooting wire harnesses circuits in UAS platforms and should be familiar with Altium for documenting wire harness designs.Responsibilities:Design, develop and test electrical systems and components for UAS platformsDevelop and debug microcontroller systems and circuitsWork with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical systems into UAS platformsDevelop and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation for electrical systems in UAS platformsAct as the Avionics liaison between engineering and the production line.Address and close out non-conformances from the production line.Develop and perform electrical tests and test procedures to verify system functionalityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical systemsQualifications:BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldExperience with diagnosing and troubleshooting circuits in UAS platformsProficiency in Altium for circuit board / harness designKnowledge of analog and digital circuits, power supplies, and CAN bus communicationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well in a team environmentExpected outcomes:3 Months: Work on existing UAS electrical systems projects, learning our development processes and systems. Participate in cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into UAS platforms.6 Months: Take on more responsibility, including leading small electrical systems projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
