Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school district in Buckeye, Arizona for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with either a Preschool population or a K-8 Developmental Program , helping students develop the skills they need to thrive both academically and functionally.

Position Details

Full-Time: 40 hours per week
Start Date: August 3, 2026
End Date: May 31, 2027
Setting: Onsite
Student Population: Preschool or K-8 Developmental Program
Caseload: Approximately 60 students
Support: Supervision of a dedicated COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)

Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
Provide direct therapy services to students with varying needs.
Supervise and collaborate with a COTA to ensure quality service delivery.
Work closely with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
Participate in IEP meetings and student planning sessions.

Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required.
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
Previous school-based experience preferred.
