Step into a meaningful role supporting Spanish-speaking students as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based setting near Durham, NC. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering specialized bilingual (Spanish/English) speech and language services for students across several schools, ensuring every child’s unique communication needs are met.

The position offers onsite, itinerant responsibilities, serving multiple school locations and collaborating closely with educators and fellow professionals. Approximately 27 hours per week are anticipated (part-time, 3.5 days), with potential expansion to a full-time schedule if the ideal candidate prefers.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active or pending North Carolina SLP license
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
• Background check and fingerprinting clearance necessary before starting
• Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct bilingual speech and language evaluations, direct therapy, and intervention services
• Serve Spanish-speaking students across assigned locations, supporting varied educational and communication goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, track student progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Handle indirect administrative tasks and attend paid team meetings (included in contracted hours)
