About the Role  

As a Residential- Field Service Specialist , you’ll be responsible for replacing and testing residential gas meters in the field. You’ll ensure safe and accurate installations while interacting professionally with utility customers. This role is part of a multi-year project.  

 

What You’ll Do  

• Remove and install residential gas meters and regulators. 

• Perform gas leak tests using company-provided equipment. 

• Identify and repair gas leaks and abnormal operating conditions. 

• Shut down and relight gas appliances safely. 

• Collect and document installation data using a handheld device. 

• Communicate clearly and professionally with utility customers. 

• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. 
  
   

What We’re Looking For  

Required Qualifications:  

• High school diploma or GED. 

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. 

• Ability to pass a pre-employment MVR, background check, and DOT PHMSA-compliant drug screen. 

• Physical ability to work outdoors for up to 10 hours/day in all weather conditions. 

• Comfortable using hand tools and lifting up to 30 lbs. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience in natural gas field service or meter installation. 

• Familiarity with gas appliance safety and operation. 

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. 

• Experience with handheld devices and basic software tools.

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
