Demonstrates working knowledge of the involuntary commitment process. Recognizes and reports suspected abuse/neglect in patients of all age groups according to guidelines.Develops, prepares, and maintains individualized patient progress records with accuracy and timeliness.Utilizes knowledge in the assessment of physical, psycho-social, environmental, spiritual, and financial factors to achieve healthcare goals.Educates patients and families about behavioral health conditions and treatment options.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Organizational skills [Required]Verbal and interpersonal communication skills [Required]Customer relations skills [Required]Proficient in grammar and spelling [Required]Ability to read and comprehend written instructions [Required]Ability to follow verbal instructions [Required]Keyboarding skills (manual) [Required]Computer skills (visual) [Required]Demonstrates clinical and ethical professionalism, conflict resolution, and critical thinking skills [Required]EAP knowledge and experience, preferred for EAP program positions [Required]Education:Bachelor's [Required]Field of Study:in Behavioral Health related fieldWork Experience:1+ of direct behavioral clinical experience providing individual, group or family therapy in an inpatient or outpatient setting [Preferred]Competence with DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment planning.
