Corporate Paralegal & Documentation Specialist

Our client is an alternative investment firm. They seek a Paralegal to join their Norwalk, CT office.
Responsibilities
- Intake, review, and process documentation in close coordination with attorneys, supporting all firm departments
- Support the opening and maintenance of broker and financial accounts, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant
- Manage contract lifecycle (including trading and vendor agreements), track key terms, coordinate execution, and maintain organized records
- Coordinate Know Your Customer (KYC) and related due diligence requests from counterparties, banks, and service providers
- Collect and organize required documentation while liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion
- Manage legal team workflows and data management tools
- Assist in developing new AI-enabled and technology-driven processes for the legal team
- Provide general administrative and operational support, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Act as a point of contact for routine legal department matters internally and externally
Requirements
- Undergraduate or higher-level degree in a related field
- 3-8 years of experience working with or administering legal documentation
- Financial services industry experience required
- KYC and contracts experience required
- Experience with trading or vendor documentation preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Willingness to learn new subject matter and adapt to evolving needs
- Licensed notary, or willing to become one
