Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans designed to match their unique needs and long-term goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive changes in clients' lives.

• Educate clients and their families on the nature of mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care strategies.

• Monitor and track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Cooperate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals for integrated care solutions that benefit client well-being.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to continually enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records in compliance with both legal standards and ethical guidelines.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to foster continuous learning and growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients affected by mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your expertise will serve individuals from various backgrounds, including marginalized groups such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your commitment to these vulnerable populations will help drive meaningful change in their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
