Funding Coordinator

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Funding Coordinator will manage the review of medical documentation, submission, and follow-up of prior authorizations to ensure compliance and support for clients with disabilities. Key Responsibilities Review medical documentation for accuracy and medical necessity Submit prior authorization requests with all required documentation and maintain follow-up on their status Communicate with supervisors regarding payer issues and provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients Required Qualifications High School diploma/GED required; Associate's degree preferred Six months of medical documentation-related experience or training required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Strong decision-making skills and a commitment to integrity and compliance with organizational values
