As a Security Officer - Enhanced Screening Officer in Boise, ID , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a leading technology location, you will support access screening activities, verify credentials, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence for employees and visitors. You will help identify and report security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access-control requirements; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Monitor entry points and screening equipment, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report access concerns or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, access points, and the surrounding business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
