Job Description

As a Security Officer - Entry Authorization in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a secure environment through strong communication and visible presence. Thur 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Fri 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping-related documentation, and help to control authorized access throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, loading and unloading areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
• Support daily operations by documenting visitor activity, logging deliveries and/or pickups, and communicating clearly with site contacts regarding access-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
