Senior Accountant

LHH is working with a growing organization in Burlington County, NJ, that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting and financial reporting team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a CPA with a strong public accounting foundation, preferably from a Big 4 firm, who has hands-on experience with SEC reporting and is looking for a clearly defined path to Accounting Manager. This highly visible role will partner closely with accounting leadership and play a critical role in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, technical accounting initiatives, internal controls, and financial reporting processes. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and review of SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and other required disclosures Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP Participate in the preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and management reporting packages Collaborate with external auditors and assist with year-end audit activities Support the company's SOX compliance program, including documentation, testing, and remediation efforts Research and document technical accounting issues and new accounting pronouncements Prepare account reconciliations, balance sheet analyses, and variance explanations Assist with the implementation and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Partner cross-functionally with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and operational teams Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies within the accounting function Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required Active CPA preferred 3-7+ years of progressive accounting experience Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred Experience with SEC reporting, including preparation of Forms 10-Q and 10-K Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced Excel skills required Compensation: $85,000-$95,000 Benefits: Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision PTO is offered on an accrual basis Paid Sick Leave where applicable by State law Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers #J-18808-Ljbffr
