Senior Accountant

Launched in 2021, a private equity investment firm focused on partnering with technology companies. Fund 1 is $1B AUM, Fund II is $2.5B AUM, IRR is over 30% with simply outstanding returns, they are in the top 5% of their peer group. Position Summary The Senior Accountant will work directly alongside the Controller, supporting day-to-day accounting operations across the management company and its investment funds. This is a broad, hands‑on role with exposure to the full spectrum of PE finance — from general ledger to investor reporting — in a lean, high‑ownership environment. Key Responsibilities: Serve as day-to-day liaison with the external fund administrator on quarterly and annual close deliverables Assist in reviewing quarterly NAV packages, capital account statements, and financial statements prior to issuance Support preparation and review of capital call and distribution notices Coordinate with external auditors during the annual fund audit Support external tax advisors with information requests for federal, state, and local fund and management company filings Assist the investor relations team in responding to investor questionnaires. Management Company Accounting Assist with monthly general ledger review from fund admin. Compile and track invoices for payment; Allocate expenses between the management company, investment funds, and portfolio companies in accordance with governing agreements Review and reconcile monthly corporate card expenses; coordinate Concur expense report review and reimbursements Monitor cash positions and assist with cash flow tracking across management company bank accounts Support quarterly management fee billing and portco monitoring fee coordination with the investment team Support external tax advisors with information requests for management company federal, state, and local tax filings, including quarterly estimated tax payments. Qualifications: 2- 4 years of private equity accounting experience; public accounting background preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required CPA license or progress toward CPA preferred Exposure to private equity fund administration, alternative investment managers, or management company accounting a strong plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
