Become a part of our caring communityWe are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Technology Leadership Professional to join our AI & Operations Engineering (AIOps Engineering) team. This role is ideal for a technical leader who thrives at the intersection of software engineering, AI, operational intelligence, data analytics, and production support.You will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting AI-powered operational solutions while leading the resolution of complex production issues across enterprise applications and platforms. This is not a traditional management role—successful candidates must be comfortable being hands-on with architecture, coding, troubleshooting, system integrations, and incident remediation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement AI, GenAI, analytics, and operational intelligence solutions.Perform hands-on coding, debugging, testing, and deployment across multiple technology stacks.Troubleshoot and resolve critical and non-critical production issues affecting enterprise applications and platforms.Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions to improve reliability.Build and maintain integrations, APIs, data pipelines, dashboards, and operational tools.Collaborate with development, product, reliability, and automation teams to deliver scalable solutions.Develop operational intelligence capabilities, predictive insights, and decision-support solutions.Drive continuous improvement through automation, AI adoption, and engineering best practices.Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across initiatives.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree5 or more years of technical experience2 or more years experience with Automation and AI technologiesExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnelExperience with unit testing and mockingMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences2+ years designing and implementing AI/ML solutionsDemonstrated expertise in:Machine Learning (ML)Generative AI (GenAI)Large Language Models (LLMs)AI agents and workflow automationPrompt engineeringData pipelines and model evaluationPreferred QualificationsPMP CertifiedSix Sigma CertifiedMBA or other Advanced DegreeDemonstrated ability running large scale projectsExperience with technology solutions assessments and/or strategy planning oversightUse your skills to make an impact Why Humana?
