Se publicó el lunes, 6 de julio de 2026, 10:00 a.m. Cocinero de Línea (Line Cook) El Cocinero de Línea contribuirá al éxito general del hotel apoyando en la preparación de alimentos, brindando un servicio excepcional al cliente y proporcionando servicios especializados para el departamento culinario. Este puesto es responsable de mantener un ambiente de trabajo positivo y altos estándares de servicio tanto para clientes internos como externos. Trabaja en una variedad de turnos y estaciones de trabajo. Garantiza que los estándares de preparación de alimentos y prestación de servicios se cumplan y mantengan de manera constante. Asegura la calidad, cantidad y presentación de todos los alimentos preparados, cumpliendo con los estándares de Coast Hotels en cuanto a frescura, apariencia y consistencia. Garantiza la correcta solicitud diaria, recepción, almacenamiento y rotación de la mise en place. Prepara, cocina y presenta alimentos de acuerdo con las descripciones de los menús, hojas de preparación build sheets, fotografías y/o comandas del personal de servicio. Está comprometido(a) con el trabajo seguro, incluyendo el cumplimiento de las normas de seguridad alimentaria, higiene y limpieza. Garantiza la seguridad y control de todos los inventarios de alimentos utilizados en la cocina para minimizar el desperdicio de alimentos. Supervisa y apoya a los Embajadores Culinarios de nivel inicial o junior. Realiza otras tareas asignadas por el equipo de liderazgo culinario. Habilidades, Conocimientos y Experiencia Mínimo de 3 años de experiencia en un puesto similar. Diploma de escuela secundaria (high school) o equivalente, con compromiso de obtener las Certificaciones Interprovinciales de Oficio (Inter-Provincial Trade Qualifications). Se requieren las siguientes certificaciones: Food Safe Nivel I y WHMIS . Se recomienda la vacunación contra la Hepatitis A. Persona proactiva, motivada y orientada al trabajo en equipo, con habilidades interpersonales demostradas. Capacidad demostrada para trabajar en un entorno dinámico, multifuncional y de ritmo acelerado. Filosofía comprobada de servicio al cliente de excelencia. Excelentes habilidades de comunicación en inglés. Capacidad para cumplir con las exigencias físicas del puesto, incluyendo permanecer de pie durante períodos prolongados, levantar hasta 30 libras (13.6 kg) y agacharse con frecuencia. Demuestra los valores fundamentales de Coast Hotels y disfruta trabajar en una cultura de responsabilidad y rendición de cuentas.
