Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of financial statement analytics and other management reports. Prepare journal entries and related support for non-routine transactions that are material and complex in nature. Prepare account reconciliations and assist with resolution of reconciling items. Work with sectors and other Corporate departments, e.g. government accounting, tax, treasury on routine transactions. Interact with foreign and shared service accounting staff to ensure appropriate accounting processes are in place. Prepare monthly Intercompany Accounting Transfers and international billings that are complex in nature. Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year-end financial reporting packages for corporate entities. Assist with the monthly load and consolidation of corporate domestic and international entities into Hyperion Financial Management. Assist with SOX, DCAA and IRS audits. Maintain documentation to support statement of work. Basic Qualifications (Level 3) Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, and a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience. Master’s degree or CPA may be traded for 2 years of experience. Master’s degree and a CPA may be traded for a total of 3 years of experience. Public accounting experience, IF directly relevant, may count for up to an additional year of experience for each year of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Public accounting firm experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or actively pursuing licensure. Prior experience with SAP and/or HFM. Strong time management and organization skills. Must be able to function in a dynamic organization, effectively managing competing priorities Understanding of government contract accounting regulations, cost accounting standards and federal acquisition regulations Compensation and Benefits Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
