Senior Financial Program Analyst

About the role

Seeking a Senior Financial Program Analyst to support financial and budget analysis for the RMSS program at NGA in Springfield, VA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with budgeting, financial documentation, and programmatic financial management, including strong knowledge of PPBE and acquisition processes. This onsite role requires a Top Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical government financial operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and process funding documents, including MIPRs and AF9s.
  • Develop and manage spend plans for the RMSS program.
  • Support budgeting and financial analysis activities in compliance with PPBE guidelines.
  • Coordinate with acquisition teams on vehicles, IGCE, SOW/PWS, and CBJB documentation.
  • Provide programmatic financial support to the AI Accreditation Division.
  • Maintain compliance with security and clearance requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate budget execution and reporting.
  • Prepare financial reports and analyses for senior leadership.
  • Support audits and financial reviews as required.
  • Stay updated on NGA financial policies and procedures.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial analysis and budget support.
  • Proficiency in creating and processing funding documents such as MIPRs and AF9s.
  • Strong understanding of PPBE, acquisition vehicles, IGCE, SOW/PWS, and CBJB.
  • Top Secret security clearance with willingness to undergo CI Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with NGA financial processes preferred.
  • Ability to develop and manage spend plans.
  • Strong programmatic financial background.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Springfield, VA.
