About the Position: Serve as the Program Manager, principal advisor to the Executive Office and senior level decision makers in the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Installations, Energy and Environment (ASA(IE&E) on technical and administrative matters relating to the accomplishment, coordination and disposition of a variety of substantive policy and program staff actions and assignments. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing and/or recommending changes to existing administrative policies and/or procedures to improve staff operations; providing expert guidance and/or assistance in the management of long-range complex projects, and/or studies; serving as the scheduler to ensure the Executive Officer (XO) is updated on scheduled activities to include changes; and managing task and workflow management software across secure and/or unclassified platforms to coordinate, track, and quality-control organizational actions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
