Director of Accounting

Ascendo Resources is assisting a prominent non-profit located in the Jupiter area looking for a Director of Accounting with non-profit accounting experience to permanently join their team!!! The Director of Accounting will have 4 direct reports. They are responsible for overseeing the accounting staff as well as reviewing financials, audits and budget reports for accuracy and compliance with all GAAP and GASB rules and regulations. This work requires knowledge of governmental accounting practices and procedures, fund accounting and fiscal management.
