About the Role We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Intern to support our social media and content efforts across both the company's social media accounts and the founder's personal brand. The ideal candidate should enjoy writing, social media, content creation, and online community engagement. You will work closely with the marketing team to create and publish content, engage with relevant audiences, research industry conversations, and help grow our presence across social platforms. For the founder's personal brand, the primary focus will be LinkedIn and X/Twitter. Key Responsibilities Content Writing & Creation Write engaging social media posts, captions, short-form content, and basic video scripts. Help create content for company social media accounts. Support content creation for the founder's LinkedIn and X/Twitter accounts. Turn blogs, product updates, company news, customer stories, videos, and internal ideas into social media posts. Research relevant topics and suggest new content ideas. Adapt content for different social platforms instead of posting the exact same copy everywhere. Founder Social Media Support Support the management of the founder's LinkedIn and X/Twitter presence. Draft LinkedIn posts and X/Twitter posts based on ideas provided by the founder and marketing team. Research relevant industry conversations, topics, and news that the founder can comment on. Help identify relevant people and accounts for the founder to engage with. Support engagement through thoughtful comments and replies. Help maintain a consistent founder content calendar. Social Media Posting & Management Schedule and publish content across company social media accounts. Make sure posts are published according to the content calendar. Check formatting, links, tagging, hashtags, and creative assets before publishing. Maintain an organized weekly and monthly social media calendar. Repurpose existing blogs, videos, case studies, webinars, and other content into social posts. Coordinate with designers or the marketing team for graphics, carousels, and videos. Community Building & Engagement Monitor comments, mentions, and conversations across social platforms. Engage with relevant customers, prospects, industry professionals, creators, and communities. Identify relevant posts where the company or founder can participate in the conversation. Help build relationships with people and accounts relevant to our industry. Support efforts to grow an active and engaged community rather than focusing only on follower numbers. Research & Content Ideas Follow relevant industry news and social media conversations. Research competitors and other strong social media accounts for content inspiration. Identify topics that are gaining attention within our industry. Suggest ideas for company posts, founder posts, carousels, short-form videos, and other social content. Help maintain a content idea bank for future posts. Social Media Reporting Track basic social media performance. Monitor metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement, followers, profile visits, website clicks, and top-performing posts. Prepare simple weekly or monthly social media reports. Identify which posts and topics are performing well. Share recommendations for improving future content. What We Are Looking For Good written English and communication skills. Interest in social media, content marketing, and digital marketing. Ability to write clear, engaging, and natural social media content. Good understanding of platforms such as LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. Willingness to research topics independently. Creativity and ability to come up with new content ideas. Attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow a content calendar.
