School Psychologist - Granger, Indiana

Job Description

Embark on an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact as a School Psychologist working with a diverse population of elementary students. This role serves a variety of schools near Granger, IN, focusing on K-5th grade learners throughout the 2026-2027 school year. You'll collaborate closely with students, educators, and families to support academic, emotional, and behavioral success.

Responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
Developing and implementing individualized intervention strategies
Promoting positive behavioral supports and facilitating social-emotional learning
Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
Supporting the special education eligibility process and drafting required documentation
Participating in multidisciplinary teams, IEP meetings, and intervention planning
Providing direct counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services for students in need
Offering recommendations and resources for teachers and caregivers

Desired qualifications:

Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
Prior experience working in K-5 or elementary educational settings
In-depth knowledge of psychological assessments and special education procedures
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to adapt to a variety of school settings and student needs
Commitment to fostering inclusive, affirming learning environments

You’ll enjoy a consistent daytime schedule—Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:45 pm, totaling 37.5 hours weekly. This opportunity provides a dynamic, supportive community where your expertise will be valued in shaping students' school experiences and outcomes.
