Location: Onsite Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the OpportunityOur client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary to join its growing legal team. This role is ideal for a professional with litigation support experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing multiple priorities while supporting attorneys through all phases of the litigation process.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, revise, format, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, correspondence, and discovery materialsFile court documents electronically and maintain compliance with court rules and deadlinesMaintain and organize electronic and physical case filesManage document production and ensure accuracy of all filingsCoordinate attorney calendars, court appearances, hearings, depositions, and client meetingsMonitor case deadlines and maintain litigation calendarsAssist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness files, and evidenceSupport attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle from case inception through resolutionServe as a professional point of contact for clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third partiesSchedule witness interviews, depositions, and meetingsMaintain confidentiality when handling sensitive legal and client informationProvide timely updates and administrative support to attorneys and clientsQualificationsAssociate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferredPrior experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary, preferably within a litigation practiceStrong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation documentsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience with legal case management and document management systems preferredStrong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting multiple attorneys in a law firm environmentFamiliarity with e-filing procedures and litigation workflowsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with a legal teamCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary: $60,000 - $70,000Stable, full-time opportunity with a reputable legal teamCollaborative and professional work environmentOpportunity to play a key role in high-level litigation mattersBenefits: Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the benefits may include PTO, medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan.
