Their litigation team is committed to delivering exceptional client service while achieving favorable outcomes through strategic advocacy, thorough case preparation, and attention to detail.We are seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys handling active personal injury litigation in Michigan courts. This position is ideal for a legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment, understands plaintiff-side personal injury law, and is highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Responsibilities include:Providing administrative and litigation support throughout the life of personal injury cases.Drafting, formatting, and filing pleadings, motions, notices, correspondence, and other legal documents.Preparing and electronically filing documents using Michigan court e-filing systems.Monitoring litigation deadlines, scheduling orders, statutes of limitation, and court calendars.Coordinating and scheduling depositions, hearings, mediations, facilitations, case evaluations, and court appearances.Assisting with all phases of discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, requests to admit, subpoenas, and medical record subpoenas.Communicating professionally with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, experts, and court personnel.Organizing and maintaining medical records, exhibits, pleadings, and litigation files.Preparing litigation binders, deposition materials, exhibit lists, and trial notebooks.Assisting attorneys with mediation, facilitation, case evaluation, and trial preparation.Qualifications include:Previous experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant, preferably in plaintiff-side personal injury.Strong knowledge of Michigan court rules and e-filing procedures.Experience managing litigation calendars and court deadlines.Familiarity with the discovery process and litigation document preparation.
