About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro ICU RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1.5 years minimum required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Neuro experience, EVD insertions, Neuro post-operative care, A-line insertions, Intubation, Central line insertion, CRRT, Post-TPA care Description: No locals within 100 miles. COVID vaccine is optional. The facility requires reporting of COVID vaccine numbers. Upload vaccine series or declination as applicable. Ratios for the unit are 1:2. First-timers are accepted. Weekend requirements vary based on unit needs. Floating is allowed within the scope to meet facility needs. Clinicians may float to other ICUs, PCU floors, ED for admitted patients, and PACU for admitted patients. Common patient diagnoses include TBI, SAH, SDH, tumor resections, status epilepticus, and other neurological disorders. The staffing and scheduling may accommodate block schedules, but it is not guaranteed. Greater than 7 days of requested time off needs approval. The unit has support from various interdisciplinary services including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Patients in this unit are primarily adults with a daily census of around 16. The unit consists of 16 beds. Special equipment used includes EVDs and CRRT. Travelers must meet specific requirements, including passing basic health safety certifications during training. About Cynet Health
