Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Schedule: Night Shift 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:
- Current RN license in state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
- At least two years recent experience in the field

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing interventions in stable and emergent patient situations across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Conduct vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and intravenous therapy management.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to initiate and implement multidisciplinary care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding care, using appropriate teaching methods based on age and circumstances.
- Delegate patient care tasks to ancillary personnel appropriate to their competency and scope of practice.
