Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students near Detroit, MI through impactful speech-language services. This part-time contract role is ideal for an energetic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) ready to make a difference within a school setting. You'll serve a caseload of 30 students across two specialized ASD programs (K-2 and 6-8), as well as elementary students with speech impairments, offering essential support and facilitating growth.

Position Highlights:

• Part-time schedule: 3 days per week, ensuring work-life balance
• Serve a diverse caseload including ASD programs and elementary students
• Immediate start with placement running ASAP through the end of the school year
• Accepting SLPs with CCCs and Clinical Fellows (CF); CCC preferred
• Supportive school staff dedicated to student development

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Michigan SLP license required
• Experience with school-based speech therapy, including work with pediatric and ASD populations
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and serve students across elementary and middle grades
• SLP-CCC preferred, but recent graduates/CFYs with relevant training encouraged to apply

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized speech/language programs
• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students with ASD and speech impairments
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school guidelines
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to help shape student goals
