Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain prior to start
• Previous experience in school settings or pediatric healthcare preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities

Primary Functions:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
• Work closely with teachers, families, and school leaders to optimize student progress
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and IEP documentation as required
• Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for students’ speech and language needs
• Provide education and resources to staff and families to maximize support for students
• Stay current on best practices, professional standards, and compliance requirements
