Retail Engagement Specialist

Overview Join 2020 Companies as a Retail Engagement Specialist to build retail partner relationships, increase program visibility, and support business growth across your territory. This is a field‑based role requiring a personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license. The position is Monday‑Friday, $23 per hour plus a 10% monthly bonus opportunity. Responsibilities Visit retail locations within the assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship‑focused manner. Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits. Provide on‑site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence. Place and maintain point‑of‑sale materials and branding in‑store. Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems. Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met. Partner with the client to train and advocate client products at the retailer. Drive merchant awareness within the assigned territory. Maintain professional interaction with both merchants and fellow employees. Try to place point‑of‑purchase signage on exterior and/or interior of business. Advise merchants by providing information on products. Audit and record competitive products, promotions, merchandising displays and merchant feedback. Travel to major markets and events for iconic launches to promote products. Contribute to team effort by assisting in launch‑related activities, as needed. Responsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity to Retail Operations. Ensure feedback reporting is submitted in a timely manner. Day‑to‑Day Field‑based position with daily travel within your assigned territory, approximately 22-35 retail visits per day depending on geography and scheduling. Mix of in‑store engagement, driving, and administrative follow‑up. Independent work style supported by leadership and training teams. Benefits No weekends. Weekly Pay (DailyPay options available). Company‑provided mobile device and materials. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 6 months of prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience. Demonstrated knowledge of products and services. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment. Reliable transportation within assigned territory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working independently in a field‑based environment. Organized, reliable, and able to manage a daily route. Adaptable, professional, and customer‑focused. Performance Measurements Meet or exceed quarterly visit goals. Meet or exceed weekly in‑store time goals. Visit multiple store locations on a daily and weekly basis. Effectively schedule store visits two weeks or more in advance. Effectively execute assigned activities inside each location during all visits. Effectively demonstrate an ability to establish and influence business relationships through merchant awareness, POP placement and consistent productivity. Record and maintain appropriate documentation for each visit. Ensure feedback reporting is submitted in a timely manner.
