Job Title: Training System Specialist
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Work Schedule: 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm EST)
Hybrid Model: 3 days on-site / 2 days remote (after training period)
Note: This is a system administration role, not a content creation position.

  Position Overview The Training System Specialist acts as the primary resource for administrative support related to Training & Enablement systems. You will collaborate across various teams—including Training & Development Managers, Trainers, field personnel, and customers—to ensure efficient system operations, compliance, and user satisfaction. This role is integral for driving effective processes and continuous improvement in our learning technology environment.
You will consult on all process, operational, and system-related training requests. Partnering with key stakeholders, you’ll provide insights, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary. The ideal candidate excels in system administration and thrives in a collaborative environment, championing best practices that align with the organization’s training and development strategy.
This position requires a highly skilled professional comfortable with complex problem solving, analysis, and process improvement initiatives. You will contribute to special projects as needed and showcase your expertise in platforms like ServiceNow, Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone, SuccessFactors), Learning Experience Platforms, and Google Suite. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for Training System administration and requests, ensuring high-quality support for users.
• Process user/customer requests, manage training assignments, and handle enrollments in LMS/LXP systems.
• Maintain accuracy of CRM, LMS, and LXP system data; send personalized communications to stakeholders as needed.
• Provide ongoing learner support, including troubleshooting issues, monitoring progress, and reporting results to Roche teams.
• Engage with trainers, developers, managers, and field staff to facilitate support for various learning programs.
• Analyze and improve processes to advance Training & Development goals, advocating for and implementing best practices.
• Participate in special projects and collaborate on operational support, issue resolution, and escalation.
• Sustain and enhance quality systems and processes to achieve objectives and ensure compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong understanding of business processes related to training and learning systems.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and consulting abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Adept at identifying process improvement opportunities and supporting their implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency with SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, or similar Learning Management Systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
• Previous experience supporting or administering LMS platforms.
