Design Engineer

Responsible for module level design and integration of PAs, LNAs, switches and filters into highly compact multi-chip modules (MCM). Thorough understanding of ADS and EM tools such as HFSS and Momentum and how they apply to laminate-based modules. This specifically involves working with and knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) circuit design and RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers; writing regular updates on design/evaluation status; background in various linear and nonlinear simulation techniques and simulators; detail-oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products. Also, job responsibilities include conducting peer reviews of designs, including expected and/or actual results; writing regular updates on design/evaluation status and coordinating product test and evaluation with onsite lab team.

Hybrid Work Scheduled Allowed: minimum of 3 days in the office and may work from home office 2 days a week, dependent upon project needs, within a reasonable distance from the office. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and any experience or coursework to involve: (1) RF circuit design; (2) exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers; (3) thorough understanding of ADS and EM tools such as HFSS; (4) writing regular updates on design/evaluation status; (4) background in various linear and nonlinear simulation techniques and simulators; and (5) detail-oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products.

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $124,342 - $130,300(subject to change dependent on physical location) Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
