IT Technician MSP

Salary: $90,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 5 years of IT support experience in a Level 3 capacity, with MSP background preferred.
• We prefer relevant certifications such as Microsoft AZ-104 or MS-100, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or an equivalent credential.
• We need strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• We expect solid experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, and Teams.
• We look for proficiency with MSP toolsets and related support platforms.
• We need networking expertise covering firewalls, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and SD-WAN.
• We value virtualization experience with VMware and Hyper-V.
• We require familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and security technologies.
• We expect experience with backup and disaster recovery tools such as Datto, Veeam, or Acronis.
• We want strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• We look for a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who can perform well under pressure.

• We serve as the final escalation point for complex IT issues across servers, networking, security, cloud, and virtualization.
• We manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments.
• We provide advanced support for network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
• We implement and support security measures such as SIEM, EDR, MFA, and backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• We lead technical initiatives such as server migrations, cloud deployments, and network refresh projects.
• We turn recurring Level 3 issues into standardized processes that can be handled by Level 1 helpdesk teams.
• We automate workflows using PowerShell, scripting, and RMM tools.
• We mentor Level 1 and Level 2 technicians and act as their escalation resource.
• We ensure alignment with security frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST, CIS, and HIPAA.
• We document technical resolutions, procedures, and client environments in IT documentation systems such as IT Glue or Hudu.
