Process Operator III - Painter

Job Description

The Process Operator III troubleshoots process problems during production. They also maintain production equipment and review data to ensure product quality.

We are seeking a Painter to apply high-quality finishes in accordance with MIL-SPEC paint standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with polyurethane paints and epoxy coatings in a manufacturing or industrial production environment. This role is essential in ensuring our components meet strict industry, customer, and government requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production fixtures and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of production equipment or work area
• Document all production and production losses
• Maintain communication as related to process and equipment
• Review data to ensure product quality during production
• Report and document process issues and equipment malfunctions
• Apply paint finishes to components using spray equipment, following MIL-SPEC and internal quality standards.
• Mix, prepare, and apply polyurethane paints, epoxy coatings, and primers.
• Inspect surfaces and finished parts for defects, ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and process sheets.
• Maintain paint equipment, spray booths, and mixing areas to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Record materials used, and processes completed in accordance with documentation requirements.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality control procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in area of responsibility.
