This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while still providing essential therapeutic support to clients across Texas. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health throughout the course of treatment.

• Develop and implement customized intervention plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing specific therapeutic needs.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic tools.
\n
• Document case histories and treatment progress meticulously in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, such as AVATAR, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Monitor clients’ progress regularly, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive client support.
\n
• Follow up with hospital staff for clients who may require acute care or hospitalization, maintaining seamless communication regarding treatment and recovery needs.

• Provide guidance and support to families and primary caregivers, helping them navigate the complexities of mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our licensed mental health counselors serve a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will engage with clients from varied socio-economic backgrounds and ensure they receive culturally competent and individualized care tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in Texas.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, critical for effective client interaction and collaboration with other providers.
\n
• Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with a compassionate demeanor and a strong desire to make a difference in clients’ lives.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role, with demonstrated ability to handle complex cases and deliver effective therapeutic services.

• Proficiency with electronic health records systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms.

• Experience in addressing co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, along with a strong understanding of addiction and recovery processes.
\n
• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices, which guide our therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Adeptness in understanding the effects of psychiatric medications prescribed by medical staff, to provide informed content to clients regarding treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, starting at $80,000 and going up to $100,000 per year, based on experience. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates eager to join our team.
