Details Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 50 beds on a single floor Rehab/med surg specialty caring for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury Patient ratio of 1:7 Uses IV pumps, EKG machines, Bari beds, and medication dispensing equipment Cerner and Epic EMR systems used Day shift schedule with every other weekend required No floating or on-call requirements Requirements Active RN license (TX or Compact) required Current BLS certification (AHA) required Minimum 2 years of experience required Acute care experience required Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration Additional Information Provide comprehensive rehabilitative nursing care for patients recovering from severe injury or illness Work within a facility accredited by The Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality and CARF-accredited for its Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty Programs Ideal candidates are problem solvers with strong critical thinking, leadership, and interpersonal skills Royal blue scrubs required Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel assignment Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment American Traveler Job ID P-747840.
