Director of Plant Operations

Director of Plant Operations Full Time – Arbour Hospital, Jamaica Plain Responsibilities Manage and organize facility operations, including maintenance, housekeeping, grounds and security, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Serve as the facility’s Safety Officer and participate actively on the Safety/Risk Management Committee. Chair the Environment of Care and Emergency Management Committees. Provide oversight to the Arbour Hospital campus, including the hospital, four ancillary buildings, storage buildings, and grounds, as well as the Quincy Center and Arbour Counseling Center. Oversee routine inspections of premises and equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose corrective actions for mechanical issues. Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary. Minimum of four (4) years of related experience, with at least one year in a management role. Knowledge and experience reading blueprints, understanding Life Safety Code, NFPA standards, OSHA, and Joint Commission Regulations. Understanding of Ohm’s Law and refrigeration theory. Valid driver's license.
