Logistics Manager

Job Summary We are immediately hiring a Logistics Manager in Bay City, MI for our Supply Chain Solutions division. Location: Bay City, MI Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. – 3 p.m. Annual salary: $75,000 – $80,000. Potential eligibility for annual bonus, commission and/or long‑term incentive plan. Responsibilities Manage performance of salaried and hourly employees, addressing performance issues and ensuring policy compliance. Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine needs and expectations. Oversee payroll, accounts payable, vendor quotes and customer invoicing. Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statements to assess account profitability and provide financial reports to senior management. Lead Safety & Security meetings, provide safety training and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be available on a flexible schedule across various shifts. Skills & Abilities Build and manage effective teams. Strong leadership and motivating skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual in English and French (for Quebec locations only). Effective interpersonal skills within a diverse team environment. Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word). Excellent knowledge of transportation and/or warehouse logistics operations (advanced required). Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements (advanced required). Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred. Three (3) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field. Two (2) years or more managing and leading direct reports. Excellent knowledge of transportation and/or warehouse logistics operations (advanced required). Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements (advanced required).
