Overview The Charge Nurse (Registered Nurse) Med Surg/Orthopedics/Bariatric Surgery Full Time Nights role at Manatee Memorial Hospital . Responsibilities The Registered Nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Demonstrates professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while providing the foundation of all patient-centered nursing care. Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs, administers IVs and medications to aid in patient health, and uses medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs. This position is for a full-time nights position on the Med Surg/Orthopedics/Bariatric Surgery unit Qualifications Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing Current RN licensure in Florida Minimum of one (1) year of acute care experience required Previous supervisory experience preferred BSN Preferred Current BLS through American Heart Association Current ACLS through American Heart Association About Manatee Memorial Hospital Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years.
