Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

SUMMARY


Our client, a fast-growing personal injury law firm, is seeking a Bilingual Litigation Paralegal to join its high-volume litigation team. This role focuses on managing a heavy caseload of PI matters in a fast-paced, plaintiff-side environment. The ideal candidate is Spanish-speaking, highly organized, and experienced with New Jersey personal injury litigation procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS


- Minimum 2+ years of paralegal/litigation legal assistant experience (PI preferred)

- Strong background in plaintiff-side personal injury litigation

- Experience handling New Jersey litigation procedures and court filings

- Proven ability to manage high-volume caseload (80-100 files)

- Spanish bilingual (required)

- Experience drafting complaints and discovery responses

REQUIREMENTS


- Draft, file, and serve complaints, motions, and discovery

- Manage litigation calendars, deadlines, and case tracking

- Request and follow up on medical records and third-party documentation

- Ensure compliance with court orders and procedural deadlines

- Maintain and manage approximately 80-100 active litigation files

- Work in-office in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

SKILLS


- Strong legal drafting (complaints, discovery, motions)

- Knowledge of NJ civil litigation procedures

- Case management and calendaring expertise

- High attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Spanish fluency (verbal and written)

- Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
