- Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Monday - Friday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- Friday - Saturday - Sunday - Monday: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- One weekday of on-call per week
- Rotating weekend on-call coverage required
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare, administer, and monitor radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
- Perform diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Start intravenous (IV) lines for the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and contrast when indicated.
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment while maintaining image quality standards.
- Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and obtain appropriate patient history.
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions.
- Follow radiation safety standards and infection prevention guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and quality control procedures are completed according to departmental guidelines.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required.
- PET/CT experience is highly preferred.
- Must be proficient in starting IVs.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Current Texas Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) license required.
- ARRT (N) - Radiologic Technologist, Nuclear Medicine

- CNMT - Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)We're Looking For
