The Role

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our options trading operations and technology infrastructure. You will work on-site with the client's technology team, and closely with Options technology professionals to ensure smooth operation of Options infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of a global financial services firm.

Typical Job duties would include:

• Act as the client's primary technical contact, providing on-site support for all Options technology systems.
• Monitor internal system health and performance; perform regular maintenance such as software updates and configuration changes.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems to internal teams for timely resolution.
• Respond to client incidents and service requests within defined SLAs, following established incident management processes.
• Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted technical advisor and proactively addressing their needs.
• Work with Options Technology teams on system enhancements and upgrades, including testing and validation to ensure smooth deployment.

We're looking for someone who has technical proficiency in:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Endpoint Management, Device Deployment and AV troubleshooting.
• 1-2 years' experience in a similar on-site technical support role within financial services.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues, identify root causes.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: excellent verbal and written communication, able to convey technical information clearly and build effective relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Client Focus: proven ability to understand and fulfil client requirements with exceptional service, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
• Adaptability and Flexibility: Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities.

Certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or similar certifications are advantageous but not required.
