- System Administrator### Job summaryWashington### Work modelHybrid · 3 days home2 days agoJob description## Company Overview**The Ventura Group** is seeking a highly experienced professional to serve as key personnel supporting a high-visibility Federal Government program.*Position is contingent on contract award*## Work LocationWashington DC - Hybrid (work remote and light travel to customer site)## Role ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing Information Technology infrastructure systems operating in a Microsoft Windows environment, including:* Install hardware, software, and coordinate system updates to support operational requirements.* Perform all duties assigned to Level I Technicians, including user workstation support for desktops, laptops, 10Zig zero clients, and mobile thin clients.* Manage user and system accounts across Microsoft Windows infrastructure environments.* Troubleshoot workstations and servers operating in both physical and virtual environments.* Configure Windows operating systems and maintain system settings in accordance with approved standards.* Perform patch management activities to ensure systems remain current and secure.* Assess and remediate vulnerabilities by identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.* Configure and troubleshoot workstation peripherals while providing technical support at remote locations as required.## Certifications and Requirements* A minimum of (5) years of IT Support Services experience. + CompTIA A+ certification can be used to substitute for 1 year of experience.* CompTIA Network+* Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)* Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)* Authorization to work in the United States permanently without sponsorship.## Additional Information* **Clearance Level:** Public Trust* **Travel:** Up to 15% CONUS
