Process Engineer

We are looking for a Process Engineer to work with our client in the packaging industry, to join their team in Central Florida

What You Will Do:

• Assess packaging processes to identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
• Establish and apply centerlining standards for packaging equipment to ensure stable and consistent performance.
• Work closely with automation engineers, operators, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues and fine-tune machine parameters.

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally with exposure to packaging systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an emphasis on process optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

If You Have, It's a Plus:

• Hands-on experience with packaging machinery such as shrink wrappers, case packers, palletizers, and conveyor systems.
• Familiarity with robotic packaging technologies (Yaskawa or comparable systems) and automated packaging lines.
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
