Job Title: Receiving Clerk

Location: Oak Forest IL

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, inspecting materials for quality and accuracy, maintaining inventory organization, and updating receiving records across our digital systems. • Shipment Inspection: Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments for damage, quality, and quantity against purchase orders.

• Photo Documentation: Take and upload photos of all received materials to ensure accurate record-keeping.

• Discrepancy Reporting: Promptly document and report any material shortages, damage, or purchase order discrepancies.

• Warehouse Storage: Correctly label and move products to designated warehouse locations, including Shipping, Raw Materials, Corrugated, Cage, and Cold Room areas.

• System Uploads: Scan and upload all receiving documentation into system databases within 24 hours of receipt.

• Vendor Coordination: Communicate and coordinate effectively with suppliers and delivery drivers.

• Workspace Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving dock and warehouse area.

• Experience: Prior experience in receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations preferred.

• Knowledge: Basic understanding of standard shipping, receiving, and warehouse procedures.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials weighing up to 40-50 lbs regularly.

• Technical Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners, digital documentation systems, and photo upload software.

• Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Shift: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (includes a 30-minute meal break).

• Environment: Active warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures (including cold room storage areas).
