- Collaborate with colleagues, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to establish comprehensive care plans.
- Provide education to patients and families to help support progress beyond clinical visits.
- Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure continuity of care.
- Keep precise and timely records that comply with state, federal, and institutional regulations.
- Engage in continuous learning and remain updated on the latest advancements in the field.

- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if ASHA certification has not been achieved yet.
Certifications
- Active state license as a Speech Language Therapist.
- Preferred Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first month of employment.
Essential Skills
- Expertise in evidence-based therapy modalities for diverse populations, with a deep understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Flexibility to modify therapeutic approaches to accommodate various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving capacity.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation standards.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary reflective of experience.
- Work-life balance through flexible scheduling and diverse patient caseloads.
- Options to develop specialties in pediatrics, adult rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
- Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay provisions.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
- Support for continuing education expenses and opportunities for professional growth.
- A collaborative environment that fosters high-quality care and ongoing learning.
A Journey That Inspires Growth
In this role, you will not just be facilitating speech therapy but becoming part of a compassionate mission to restore voices, enhance communication, and create moments of joy through simple yet profound human interactions.
