Centerless Grinder 1st shift

Shift and Pay Ready for your next opportunity? Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand is currently hiring a Centerless Grinder for our 1st shift. Starting pay range of $26.00-$30.00/hour. Key Responsibilities Set up centerless grinder machinery. Operate centerless grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines. Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary. Move completed material to next workstation. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Daily verbal communication with employees regarding work schedules and jobs. Written and verbal communication with management as needed. Other duties as assigned. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED (One year certificate from college or technical school preferred) or equivalent experience. Minimum experience required is 1-3 years. Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions and interact with multiple personality types. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Mechanically inclined with strong math skills. Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers and calipers. Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates, and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds. Physical Demands & Work Environment The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently stands, walks, and sits. The employee occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
