CNC Grinder 1st shift

Internal Eligibility Applicants must have been in their current position for a minimum of 6 months to be eligible to apply for other internal positions. Position Overview We have one opening for a CNC Grinder Operator on the first shift at Regal Rexnord Thomson/Nook Cleveland Division. Starting pay range is $26.00-$30.00 per hour. Responsibilities Set up centerless grinder machinery. Operate centerless grinder machinery upholding production standards and ISO 9001 regulations. Inspect product for quality, including deburring when necessary. Move completed material to next workstation. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications One year certificate from college or technical school preferred. 6 months to 1 year related experience or training. Ability to interpret verbal and written directions. Mechanically inclined with strong math skills. Proficiency reading basic measuring devices, including micrometers and calipers; working knowledge of surface footage, feed rates and calculation of feeds and speeds. Successful completion of a blueprint reading course. Physical Requirements The employee frequently stands, walks, and sits; occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls. May lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Requires close, distance, color, peripheral vision and ability to focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
