Compensation: $24.00 per hour

Walk-In Interviews every Tuesday: 12pm-3pm & Thursday: 10am-12pm. No appointment needed.

Full-Time: 6:30am-3:00pm - 4 days on/2 days off rotating schedule includes weekends/holidays

Part-Time:

• 2:30pm-11:00pm - 2 days on/4 days off rotating schedule includes weekends/holidays
• Varied Schedule - 6:30am-3:00pm & 2:30pm - 11:00pm - Days vary to include weekends/holidays

About the Role: As a Medication Technician at Belmont Village, you will assist residents living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community with their daily medications, monitor their responses and maintain accurate electronic medical records under the supervision of a licensed Nurse. You will support our licensed nurses with administrative tasks as needed. This is an excellent position for candidates who aspire to someday be a licensed nurse. Your Typical Responsibilities:

• Administer Medications and Provide Personal Care: Follow physician's orders and community guidelines for administering routine medications and providing assistance with ADL care as needed
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate medical records and report any reactions or medication refusals to the licensed nurse.
• Vital Sign Monitoring: Take resident vital signs and observe any responses or side effects.
• Shift Communication: Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions.
• Customer Satisfaction: Work collaboratively with a team to ensure the highest quality care and services are provided resulting in overall customer satisfaction
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all resident rights, state, and federal regulations, including infection control, fire safety, and hazardous materials guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facility
• C.N.A. License in states where required
• Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
